The sleep surface is cushioned by a layer of 3-pound density, 100-percent pure visco memory foam for a firm supportive experience. The support layer features the patented Sleep Zone Air Channel Base, which incorporates 1-inch grooves that run horizontally and vertically through the high-resiliency foam base to promote ventilation and air circulation, creating a sleeping environment that circulates fresh air while releasing any absorbed heat. The Hermosa mattress also features the patented Wedge Edge support system. With an angled piece of firm polyurethane foam running along the edge of the mattress, the Wedge provides stable sitting edge, 20-percent more sleeping surface than the competition, and extends the life of the mattress by preventing the foam from spreading after prolonged use. Additionally, the beautifully crafted mattress cover is easily zipped off for laundering. Just throw it in the washer and dryer, and enjoy a fresh mattress cover whenever you desire.
